When the dark surrounds
When the sun goes down
When I see your eyes
When you come around
It's a false alarm
Feel it in my arms
Then I'm calming down
And now I see you crying
Blue moon, dying
RUN, GET OUT! RUN!
I fade away, I can't believe
Another day is coming down
And now I see you crying
Is it me, myself and I?
I see it clear, I'm goin' down
And now I see you
I'm so cold, I stay awake,
I'll find a way to stand my ground
And now I see you
I start to cry, I start to bleed,
I'm roaring out without a sound
Never hear the sirens
No one else, nobody else
Can help me now I'm goin' down
But now I see you
You're so cold, you stay awake,
You'll find a way to stand your ground
And now you see me
Someday I, will have the wings to fly
I know that feeling
Someday I, will touch the sky so high
And then we all fall down
RUN! GET OUT!!
Waiting out, inside a room,
Without a door, just let me out
Or you will see me angry
Crying out, into the night,
Behind the walls I feel unbound
And now i see it!!
I'm so cold i stay awake,
I'll find a way to stand my ground
Until I see you!
Wake up, feel it (break-out)
Wake up, feel me (break-out) (find me!)
Fade away ( Not so far, I'm goin' down)
Far away (not so far, not so far away)
And now I see

Another strong release from Hillward. Catchy and emotive. Some songs are quite memorable, especially the choruses. Lyrics are, again, interesting and thoughtful. I like the river intro and fade~out in Foster the River. The diversity of expression in this album is again, like its predecessor, admirable; giving the necessary contrast and shading to ensure a fuller listening experience. Thank you, Hillward. 8/10. My choice of a favourite song is not set in stone; there are a lot of subtleties to absorb in these songs, both lyrically and instrumentally. I can say, with conviction, that this is top tier neo~prog in the vein of Porcupine Tree, and it often hits 🎯on my ‘musical quest dartboard’. Lyrics are thoughtful and personal, and the accompanying music is always a complementary partner that walks hand in hand with the vocals. Hillward’s sound is satisfyingly diverse and pleasurable.

The Long Island metal band's third album etches arena-sized hooks into their jagged compositions, deftly balancing experimental and poppy inclinations. Bandcamp Album of the Day May 12, 2022
This album really roots itself in modern prog metal, especially in the way the guitar work is treated. It's not fully a djent album but has some very djenty songs throughout, mixed with post-rock elements. It also happens to have some of the most gorgeous ambient moments I've ever heard in my life, evidenced by beautiful tracks like "Solstice". Another stellar knockout by Widek! Challenging Apathy
